On Sunday, August 21st, Holy Redeemer hosted the Welcome Mass for the college students. We had 18 students, along with a number of parish members, who joined us for Mass. Father Paul Schumacher was the presider. He often brings props to Mass to bring to life the message of the day. The message as we started the school year was to dust off all that keeps us from sharing the Good News of the Lord and to take that message to the world.
We owe a huge "Thank YOU" to Father Paul for coming out of retirement to offer the Mass and to Jon for serving as our lector. Finally, thank you to Emma and Lexi for ushering for the Mass.
Daily Mass, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12n, begins this week, August 23rd. Beginning next Sunday, Mass will be at 6pm at the Campus Religious Center on Sunday evenings. Meals are provided for college students after each Mass at the CRC. We hope to see you soon!
