This year, on the second Tuesday of each month, the Newman Club will be featuring a speaker focused on each of the seven Corporal Works of Mercy. This month, Kelly joined us to shared about "Visiting the Sick."
One way to visit the sick is through the donation of blood products. Kelly shared her story of being a long time blood donor, as well as her connection to the importance of organ donation. She lost her brother to an accident. Their family made the decision to donate his organs for others to have a chance at living their best lives.
We appreciate the time Kelly took to share with us how we can each live out our baptismal call to love and serve each other.
