Summer 'Stangs continued this week with a visit from Henry Hassman. Henry is an avid canoeist with more than 50 years of experience in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Many stories were shared, along with tips on canoeing in international waters, food preservation, and gear needed for a safe trek.
While we don't plan to go to the BWCA this summer, we will have a trip to the Shetek State Park for canoeing, hiking, and grilling. Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 14. We will be meeting at Shetek State Park at 2pm. There will be a small fee for canoe rental and you will need a State Park pass to enter, but there will be no other costs. Attend any of our Tuesday Catholic 'Stangs activities, and mention you want to come, to get registered!
